Job description

XOi is looking for a Senior Solutions Consultant to join the Product team as we scale our business and launch new products. As Senior Solutions Consultant, you’ll be critical to our continued success, working directly with our Enterprise customers to understand how our products’ capabilities align to solve their unique challenges. In this high-impact role, you’ll use your extensive knowledge of our industry and product to act as trusted advisor to our customers at the executive, stakeholder, and user levels. You’ll also coordinate feedback across our internal teams, present findings and solutions, facilitate internal and external communications, and monitor and report progress to leadership. This position reports to the VP of Product.


What will you do at XOi Technologies?

  • Leverage a deep, ongoing understanding of our product offering, industry trends, leading practices, and competitor capabilities (real or perceived) to act as a trusted advisor for both customers and internal stakeholders, answering business, feature/capability, and technical questions
  • Build relationships with our customers, leading meetings and discovery workshops to uncover our customers’ unique business challenges and clearly articulate these
  • Use ingenuity and creativity to develop product demonstrations that highlight ways our current product capabilities align with solutions to our customers’ needs
  • Act as the “voice of the customer,” providing feedback to Product and Customer Success about new use cases, potential enhancements, and customer activities that create business value
  • Drive the rollout of new capabilities and enhancements by facilitating training and feedback sessions with our customers
  • Facilitate project management for implementations and post-implementation support
  • Special projects, as necessary


Skills and Experience:

  • 7+ years of customer-facing experience at Enterprise SaaS or Consulting companies doing:
    • Pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering, or
    • Customer integrations/implementations, or
    • Customer-driven Product, Program, or Project Management, or
    • Customer Success or Account Management
  • Prior experience in the Field Service, HVACR, or other Technical Trade a plus
  • Demonstrated relationship building and management skills and the ability to interact appropriately and effectively in a consultative role
  • Excellent listener who understands and relates to highly complex problems and business challenges and can ask the probing questions to uncover business value
  • Ability to manage multiple customers at varying levels of implementation, proactively identifying and communicating risks and opportunities, and meet required deadlines
  • Ability to present in front of an executive audience and lead customer demonstrations in person, as well as virtually
  • Experience working collaboratively with product management, design, customer success, and sales engineering, using influence and indirect authority to meet critical goals
  • Self-starting approach and ability to deliver at a high level with flexibility as an individual contributor and as a member of a team and with minimal supervision
  • Highly curious and motivated to learn our products, new technologies, and market trends and creatively apply them to discussions and solutions with customers
  • Demonstrated success providing the highest level of service to customers through responsive, articulate, and effective communications
  • Exceptional attention to detail, quality, and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience building customer-grade artifacts using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word (or their equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of agile software development life cycle methodology
  • Willingness to travel as necessary (up to 50%)
