FAQs

What is an AI-generated work summary in XOi?

It's an automatically generated summary of work completed on site, created from the responses a technician enters during their workflow in XOi. Techs tap 'Auto-Generate' at the end of the workflow to create a clear, customer-ready summary instantly.

What workflow responses does XOi AI use to create work summaries?

The AI draws from short text responses, yes/no answers, multiple choice selections, date fields, number inputs, and step notes — any information the tech enters while completing their workflow on the job.

Can work summaries be shared with customers directly?

Yes. Once approved, the summary is included in the job's shareable link. Techs can share just the workflow or the full job, with the summary appearing at the top of the customer-facing report.

Can AI-generated work summaries be edited before sharing?

Yes. Summaries are reviewable and editable on XOi Web. After approval, an 'Edited' label is added to indicate changes were made. Techs can also regenerate a summary by deleting the existing one and tapping Auto-Generate again.

What happens if a workflow doesn't have enough content to generate a summary?

XOi will prompt the tech to add more detail — either by typing or using text-to-voice in the input field — before generating the summary. This ensures every summary has enough substance to be genuinely useful to the customer.
